  • From the Pastor

This week I want to highlight a very important—yet often unseen—ministry of our church. The Weekday Preschool has been ministering to children for many years teaching them basic educational lessons as well as truths about Jesus. All three of my children have benefited from this tremendous ministry and the great teachers who make up the staff. Under the very capable leadership of Cheryl Schaum, the Weekday Preschool not only educates children but demonstrates real love to each boy and girl.

The Weekday Preschool is often a ministry that is rarely seen by most of the congregation. However, if you come up to the church during the school year and go into the educational buildings, you will find boys and girls in most of the preschool classrooms as well as on the playground, in the gym, or singing in the Worship Center. The church is alive with activity as these boys and girls play and learn.

I don’t know the spiritual condition of every family, but I do know that our church reaches out and seeks to share the love of Christ not only to the children but to their parents and siblings as well. If you have a friend that could benefit from the Weekday Preschool, please take the time to share with them about this important ministry. God is blessing the work of the teachers and staff and I believe as we spread the word, we could see even greater blessings come from this ministry.

Pray for Cheryl, her teachers, and staff as they prepare for a new year. If you would like more information about the Weekday Preschool, click here.

Praise God for the great work He is doing through the Weekday Preschool.

The Best is yet to come!

    Senior Pastor

On Wednesday, September 8, the mission groups resume at 6:30 pm for children who will be enrolled in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade in 2010-2011. Please consider serving in one of these areas.

Game night is the last girls' event for the summer. All middle school and high school girls are invited to this FREE night of games, snacks, and fun on August 14. Girls, here is what you need to bring:

We will provide plates, napkins, and drinks.
